This is a unique opportunity to be part of the historic launch of professional women’s basketball in Canada while helping create unforgettable in-arena experiences for fans.
As part of the Arena Promotions Team, you’ll help bring the excitement of Tempo game days to life. From running on-court contests to engaging with fans throughout the arena, this role plays a key part in delivering high-energy entertainment and interactive experiences that showcase the passion and community behind the Tempo organization.

Please note: Arena Promotions Staff may be expected to attend all home games
Key Responsibilities
Game Day Promotion Execution
- Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of in-arena contests, fan experiences, and promotional activities.
- Distribute promotional items, giveaways, and sponsor materials in a professional and engaging manner.
- Support on-court and concourse activations during breaks in play.
- Help stage participants and props for contests and interactive segments.
- Encourage fan participation in games, contests, and arena activities.
Fan Engagement
- Interact with fans in a friendly, welcoming, and energetic manner to enhance the overall game day experience.
- Provide clear instructions to contest participants to ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic presence while representing the Tempo brand.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with game presentation staff, hosts, mascots, and production crews to ensure a seamless fan experience.
- Communicate timing updates and readiness during live segments.
- Adapt quickly to schedule changes or evolving production needs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, jump, and move throughout the arena for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in large, energetic crowds and dynamic event environments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in promotions, brand activation, events, or fan engagement is considered an asset.
- Highly energetic personality with the ability to bring hype and positive vibes to every Tempo event.
- Strong understanding of game presentation operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of basketball or sports entertainment is an asset.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and after-hours during the Tempo season.
- Ability to travel across Canada for select national events when required.
