Position Overview

TLH Reckoning is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and dynamic individual to serve as Director of Futsal.

This role oversees daily operations of the futsal facility while leading planning, organization, and execution of camps and programming. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage staff, drive participation, and deliver a high-quality experience for players, families, and clients.

This position will establish a meaningful futsal footprint in Tallahassee, including player development programs, leagues, tournaments, and all-star teams competing nationally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Futsal Development & Coaching

• Define and execute the club’s futsal development philosophy and curriculum
• Recruit, mentor, and manage coaching staff
• Lead weekly training sessions for academy players
• Align futsal programming with overall player development plans

Growth & Operations

• Secure and expand futsal training and competition spaces
• Increase facility usage and program participation
• Support marketing efforts for leagues, camps, and events
• Build relationships with clients, teams, and community partners

Staff Hiring & Management

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, coaches, and interns
• Manage staff scheduling and operations
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
• Handle employee relations and conflict resolution

Program & Camp Management

• Lead planning and execution of camps, including summer and specialty programs
• Oversee leagues, training sessions, rentals, and youth programming
• Develop new camps, clinics, and programs
• Continuously evaluate and improve offerings

Camp Operations & Administration

• Manage enrollment, registration, and waitlists
• Maintain accurate records, rosters, and attendance
• Oversee timesheets and stipends
• Participate in planning and post-camp evaluations
• Track and report program performance metrics

Communication & Customer Experience

• Serve as primary contact for parents, participants, and staff
• Ensure clear, timely, and professional communication
• Resolve issues and maintain a positive environment
• Deliver a strong overall experience for all participants

Additional Duties

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by club leadership

Qualifications

• Experience in facility management, program coordination, or sports administration
• Minimum 2 years of collegiate or professional playing experience
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service preferred
• Soccer background required
• Appropriate futsal and coaching licenses
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Club Representation

• Act as an ambassador for the club
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment
• Participate in club events and community outreach
• Represent the club professionally with all stakeholders
