Position Overview

TLH Reckoning is seeking a passionate and dedicated Goalkeeper Coach to join the team. This role is instrumental in delivering a high-quality, positive soccer experience for players of all ages and skill levels.

The ideal candidate will inspire, mentor, and develop young athletes while instilling teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, and fostering a love for the game.

This coach must bring verified goalkeeping experience with the ability to develop collegiate-level goalkeepers.

Key Responsibilities

Coaching & Player Development

• Design and deliver age-appropriate training sessions aligned with club curriculum
• Teach technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical fitness
• Provide individualized feedback to support player growth
• Evaluate player progress and support team selection decisions
• Lead individual player development plans and support college recruiting
• Conduct video analysis sessions with goalkeepers

Game Management

• Prepare players for competition using club playing principles
• Manage and coach goalkeepers during matches
• Ensure substitutions and rotations align with development goals
• Promote sportsmanship and a positive game-day environment

Communication & Administration

• Maintain consistent communication with players, parents, and staff
• Collaborate with club leadership on initiatives and programming
• Track attendance, evaluations, and administrative tasks

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all sessions meet safety standards
• Follow emergency protocols when needed
• Maintain certifications (CPR, First Aid, SafeSport)
• Complete background checks and comply with safety regulations

Club Representation

• Serve as an ambassador for the club
• Participate in events, tryouts, and community outreach
• Represent the club professionally at all times

Schedule

• Part-time, year-round
• Evenings, weekends, and travel required

Qualifications

Required

• Experience coaching elite youth, college, or professional players
• Strong understanding of soccer fundamentals and player development
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to motivate and connect with athletes
• Strong understanding of the women’s game
• Minimum 2 years of collegiate or professional playing experience
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Appropriate coaching licenses
• Familiarity with long-term athlete development models
