About the role and you:

We’re seeking a Campaign Implementation Manager for a maternity leave contract, with the current incumbent commencing leave in June 2026. We are ideally seeking a candidate who can start 1–2 months earlier to allow for a thorough training and handover period.

As the Campaign Implementation Manager you will lead the implementation of all Client activity across the SEN Teams Business (Melbourne Mavericks, Bendigo Spirit, Assist with Perth Lynx). This role will also lead the end‑to‑end delivery of client activity across the SEN Sponsorships portfolio.

In this role, you’ll bring a deep understanding of client objectives to life through seamless campaign execution, strong cross‑functional collaboration, and disciplined reporting and budget management. You’ll work closely with internal teams and key external partners to ensure campaigns run smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard. Regular attendance at Melbourne Mavericks home games and travel to Bendigo Spirit games will be part of supporting exceptional on‑ground delivery.

The Role:

• Lead the implementation of all Client activity across the SEN Teams Business (Melbourne Mavericks, Bendigo Spirit, Assist with Perth Lynx).
• Lead the implementation of all Client activity across the SEN Sponsorships Business (RULE Prostate Cancer AFL Legends Game & Bowls Australia)
• Establish a strong understanding of client objectives and deliver campaigns that meet expectations.
• Cross functional collaboration across all areas of SEG including Commercial, Partnerships, Broadcast, Game Day Operations to ensure campaign delivery.
• Optimise work processes, seek to improve, identify and create new processes when required to drive outcomes
• Responsible for the delivery of a consistent reporting framework across the Teams business including relevant data & analytics.
• Manages campaign budgets to deliver maximum ROI and cost-effectiveness
• Manages key external relationships including Club GMs, high performance, game day operations, consumer & brand, suppliers, local councils and code governing bodies.
• Attendance at all Melbourne Mavericks home games and an ability to travel Bendigo for minimum 3 x Bendigo Spirit homes games is required.

The ideal candidate we are looking for will:

• 3+ years experience in a similar campaign management role, executing sports sponsorships or club partnerships
• High attention to detail, strong experience driving new processes
• Collaborative approach, working with others across the organisation and partner to achieve shared objectives
• Strong commercial acumen to identify partnership opportunities for clients to grow revenue.
• Action Oriented, taking on challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
• Able to delegate, provide direction and remove obstacles to get work done
• Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments (both long and short-term) for both partners and the organisation
• Embodies the values and passion of working for a sporting team and can extend that across all SEN Teams.
