Position
The Role
West Ham United Women are seeking a driven and innovative Assistant Performance Analyst to support our First Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-performance environment, contributing to the continued growth of the team.
We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure, demonstrates excellent game intelligence, and brings both creativity and technical expertise to their work. You’ll be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering impactful insights that influence performance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver detailed, actionable analysis to coaches and senior staff
- Support the Lead Analyst through video, documentation, and data insights
- Travel with the team for home and away fixtures, managing matchday workflows ✈️
- Provide live match analysis and post-match presentations 📊
- Analyse trends and patterns at both team and individual level
- Track competition data aligned with club KPIs and playing philosophy
- Reinforce West Ham United’s football identity through evidence-based analysis
- Collaborate with coaching staff to provide player and team feedback 🤝
- Assist recruitment with player profiling when required
Skills & Experience
- Experience in performance analysis within a professional sporting environment
- Confidence delivering live analysis in high-pressure settings
- Proficiency in tools such as SportsCode, Studio, StatsBomb, Impect, Wyscout, and Keynote
- Strong tactical understanding of football
- Excellent written and presentation skills
Qualifications
- BSc in Performance Analysis, Sport Science, or a related discipline 🎓
