CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER (CRO)
JOB DESCRIPTION
AFC Toronto is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead all revenue-generating functions for the club. This executive will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive revenue strategy across ticketing, partnerships, and ancillary revenue streams, helping establish AFC Toronto as a leading commercial organization within global women’s football. The CRO will work closely with ownership and senior leadership to develop and implement a long-term commercial vision that aligns with the club’s performance ambitions and brand identity. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities and a proven track record of driving revenue growth in a sports or entertainment environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Strategy & Leadership
• Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy across all business lines, including ticketing, partnerships, merchandise, and other commercial initiatives
• Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities to drive sustainable growth
• Establish pricing strategies and revenue targets across all verticals
• Provide leadership and direction to commercial teams, ensuring alignment with overall club objectives
Partnerships & Sponsorship
• Lead the development and execution of the club’s sponsorship strategy
• Identify, negotiate, and close partnership deals with corporate partners
• Manage and grow relationships with existing partners to maximize long-term value
• Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to deliver innovative and impactful partnership activations
Ticketing & Fan Revenue
• Oversee ticketing strategy, including pricing, packaging, and distribution
• Drive ticket sales across all channels, including season tickets, group sales, and single-match tickets
• Develop initiatives to enhance fan engagement and matchday revenue
• Monitor ticketing performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve revenue targets
Commercial Operations
• Oversee merchandise strategy, including product development, pricing, and distribution
• Identify and develop ancillary revenue streams, including events, experiences, and digital offerings
• Ensure operational excellence across all revenue-generating functions
Data & Analytics
• Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize revenue performance
• Track and report on key performance indicators across all commercial areas
• Implement systems and processes to improve data collection and analysis

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Proven experience in a senior commercial or revenue leadership role within sports, entertainment, or a related industry
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and securing high-value partnerships
• Strong understanding of ticketing, sponsorship, and commercial operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
