Position Summary
The Ticket Operations Intern will support the Orlando Valkyries’ ticketing infrastructure, working closely with the Ticket Sales & Operations Manager to ensure accurate, efficient, and fan-friendly ticketing operations across all home matches. This intern will gain hands-on experience with ticketing systems, data management, CRM workflows, and game day box office operations — developing a strong foundation in the behind-the-scenes systems that drive ticket revenue and fan access. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented student interested in sports operations, data, or venue management.
Key Responsibilities
Ticketing Systems & Data Management
- Assist with building and maintaining ticket inventory, price codes, and event configurations in the ticketing system (Archtics).
- Help process ticket orders, upgrades, exchanges, and special accommodations for season ticket holders and group accounts.
- Support the maintenance and accuracy of customer records within the CRM platform.
- Assist in pulling and formatting ticketing reports including sales summaries, attendance figures, and comp tracking.
- Help audit ticket inventory and flag discrepancies or operational issues for resolution.
Season Ticket Holder & Account Support
- Assist in servicing season ticket holder accounts including seat relocations, payment plan support, and renewal processing.
- Help coordinate season ticket holder communications including account statements, benefit fulfillment, and event notifications.
- Support the preparation and distribution of season ticket packages, credentials, and member materials.
- Assist in tracking renewal pipeline activity and flagging at-risk accounts for proactive outreach.
Game Day Box Office & Operations
- Staff the box office on home match days, assisting with will-call, ticket resolution, and fan entry.
- Support the setup and breakdown of box office operations before and after each home event.
- Serve as a frontline resource for fans with ticketing questions or issues on game day.
- Help coordinate comp ticket requests, media credentials, and guest list management.
- Perform additional ticket operations and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and ticketing platforms.
- Organized and process-oriented with the ability to manage high volumes of transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ticketing software (Archtics, Ticketmaster, AXS) or CRM platforms is a strong plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays — home match dates are required.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Passion for sports operations, data, and delivering a seamless fan experience.
Education & Experience
- Currently working toward a degree in Sports Management, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Prior experience in ticketing, box office operations, retail, or data entry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Archtics, Ticketmaster, or similar ticketing platforms is a strong plus.
