We are seeking a dynamic and driven Intern, Partnerships reporting to a Director, Partnerships to support our partnership initiatives.
Job Summary:
The Partnerships Intern will support the Partnerships team with the execution and fulfillment of Tempo’s partnership commitments. Reporting to the Director, Partnerships, this role is focused on delivering best-in-class service to corporate partners by coordinating game day deliverables, supporting activation efforts, and supporting every partnership touchpoint to ensure executional excellence. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to help bring partnership campaigns to life and contribute to the overall success and growth of the partnership team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Partnership Management
- Support the Partnerships Team with all projects by fulfilling partnership needs through seamless delivery of assets and activations.
- Provide on-site support for partner activations during events, games, and community appearances.
- Assist with game day responsibilities, including in-arena activations and partner hospitality.
- Support with internal partner tracking inventory including status documents, creative, and invoices.
- Support the fulfillment of partner requests including tickets, merchandise, gifting, and hospitality.
- Help package and ship items to partners as needed.
- Conduct research on prospective partners, industry trends, and market insights.
- Build trust-based relationships with partners, agencies and internal teams, managing expectations and delivering results.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., marketing, sales, operations) to deliver on partnership commitments and ensure alignment with overall team objectives.
- Work with internal stakeholders to review partner creative that leverages Tempo marks.
- Expectation to attend all home games during the season to manage all partner relations.
Reporting and Analytics
- Support the tracking of individual partner budgets with monthly and year end reporting requirements.
- Support with mid-season reporting – including data collection, deck building and partner presentations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Currently a post secondary student in any program or recent graduate.
- Proficiency with MS office software including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and a “no job too big or small” attitude.
- Self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Must be able to commute to our downtown Toronto office or Coca-Cola Coliseum four days a week a minimum.
- Must be available to work weeknights, late nights, and weekends throughout the entire internship.

The salary range for the Intern, Partnerships role is $1232.00 CAD biweekly.
