Chattanooga, Tennessee, The Head Women’s Golf Coach is responsible for all facets of the Women’s Golf program including but not limited to competitive performance, student-athlete development, student-athlete safety, health & well-being, recruiting, academics, compliance, program development, staff management, fundraising, team travel, camps/clinics, game day management, alumni relations, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performs Sports Management including:
Organizing, preparing and conducting team practices, training, and competition
Competition scheduling
Budget maintenance
Equipment management
Staff management
Provides Communication for the following:
Constant communication with student-athletes
Regular communication with sport administrator and athletic support staff related to sport (strength and conditioning, sports medicine, academic advising, sport information, marketing & promotions, equipment & facilities, MocsVision, and community service)
Development staff regarding donor relations
Camps & Clinics
Performs Recruiting as follows:
Emails, mailings, phone calls
Prospect evaluations
Prospect contacts
Recruiting services
Unofficial and/or official campus visits
Admissions contacts
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Knowledge of NCAA Division I Women's Golf
Knowledge of the NCAA compliance and recruiting rules
Knowledge of ARMS software
Ability to travel extensively
Ability to manage staff
Ability to communicate effectively

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree and five years of Intercollegiate coaching experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: NCAA D1 Intercollegiate coaching experience is preferred.
