St. Mary's City, Maryland, St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting résumés for the 11-month position of Head Men's and Women's Varsity Rowing Coach. Responsible for managing all phases of a highly competitive NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Rowing program which includes recruitment of qualified student-athletes; scheduling of contests; administration, organization, and evaluation of all aspects of the program; fleet and facility maintenance; and adherence to all NCAA Division III, conference and institutional policies and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, and knowledge of NCAA, US Rowing, Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference rules and regulations. US Rowing Level 2 (or equivalent) preferred. Experience in collegiate coaching is preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license; ability to travel and work nights and weekends required, and ability to lift approximately 30 pounds. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful of a criminal background check. The salary range is $57,000 - $65,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
