Position Summary
The Graphic Design & Creative Services Intern will support the visual identity and creative output of the Orlando Valkyries across digital, print, and in-venue channels. Working closely with the Manager of Marketing & Sponsorship Fulfillment, this intern will contribute to a wide range of design projects that bring the Valkyries brand to life — from social media graphics and promotional materials to game day signage and partner deliverables. This is an ideal opportunity for a design student looking to build a professional portfolio within a professional sports environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Content Production
- Design graphics for social media platforms including Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and TikTok.
- Create print and digital assets for game day programs, signage, promotional flyers, and in-venue displays.
- Support the production of sponsor deliverables including branded graphics, recap reports, and activation materials.
- Assist with the design of email marketing templates, digital advertising assets, and website imagery.
- Contribute to the development of seasonal campaigns and themed promotional content.
Brand & Asset Management
- Maintain and organize the team’s digital asset library including logos, templates, fonts, and photography.
- Ensure consistent application of Valkyries brand standards across all creative outputs.
- Assist with photo and video editing for use across digital platforms and marketing channels.
- Support the archiving of completed creative projects and campaign materials.
Collaboration & Project Support
- Coordinate with the marketing, communications, and partnerships teams to fulfill design requests.
- Participate in creative briefings and brainstorming sessions.
- Assist with on-site photography or visual capture at home matches and community events as needed.
- Perform additional creative and administrative tasks as assigned.
Team Culture & Collaboration
- Contribute to a positive and energetic office environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support team-wide initiatives.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with Premiere Pro or After Effects is a plus.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills across digital and print formats.
- Understanding of branding principles and visual storytelling.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for sports, design, and creative storytelling.
Education & Experience
- Currently working toward a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Knowledge of motion graphics or video production is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in sports, entertainment, or agency design is a plus.
