Jumping on the bandwagon of women's sports' growth, LOVB moved from a single-entity to a franchise-owned model with LOVB-Nebraska being the first. The President of the team is Kirsten Booth, former volleyball coach, Creighton University. Kirsten is best known for building successful teams. This is a startup.

Salary Range: $65,000–$75,000 base, plus commission and/or bonus opportunities

Job Summary
LOVB Nebraska is seeking a driven and strategic Director of Ticketing Sales reporting to the President to lead all revenue-generating ticket sales efforts for our professional volleyball team. This role will focus on building and executing a best-in-class sales strategy across season tickets, group sales, premium inventory, and single-match revenue. This is a premium product made up of the world's finest women volleyball players competing in an intimate setting.
As a key leader in a startup environment, this individual will be responsible for developing a high-performing sales culture, establishing scalable processes, and directly contributing to revenue growth. The Director of Ticketing Sales will play a critical role in building the fan base and driving long-term customer relationships. The right individual will not only manage but also sell.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Own and execute all ticket revenue strategies, including season tickets, group sales, premium seating, and single-match sales. Lead, coach, and develop ticket sales staff, including setting goals, tracking performance, and fostering a results-driven culture.
- Establish and refine pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies in alignment with league initiatives and local market dynamics.
- Build and implement scalable sales processes, scripts, and outreach strategies suited for a startup organization.
- Drive outbound sales efforts, including direct selling, prospecting, and relationship-building with key accounts.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to align campaigns, messaging, and lead generation strategies.
- Analyze sales data, pacing reports, and market trends to optimize performance and revenue outcomes.
- Develop retention strategies to grow season ticket membership and repeat buyers.
- Partner with partnerships and community teams to maximize group sales and corporate engagement.
- Serve as a key voice in overall revenue planning and forecasting.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 5+ years of ticket sales experience, with leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with Ticketmaster, Archtics, and CRM platforms preferred.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

- The team will play in Baxter Arena, Univ. of Nebraska Omaha, and may play some home games in other arenas, such as Grand Island, NE, for example, to go to the audience. Seating for this league is Baxter lower bowl of 7,989 with the lower bowl around 5,000. The event sold out in Grand Island at 5,800.
- Ticket Sales and Operations staff of 4, including Directors of Sales and Director of Ticket Operations reporting to Sales with 2 other sales representatives.
- Ticket prices range from $15 - $75.00 per game; there are 11 home games.
Working Conditions
- Primary work location is LOVB Nebraska headquarters in Omaha, NE.
- Occasional travel for events or meetings.
- Attendance at all home events is required.
