Towson University is seeking an Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach. This position will assist the Head Volleyball Coach in the coaching and day-to-day operations of a Division I intercollegiate women's volleyball program. Additional responsibilities include complying with video/CAA exchange policies; assisting with camps/clinics, practice, and match preparation; helping with player development; monitoring social media; recruiting as permitted by NCAA rules and regulations; and attending community service events to support the program.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach will be responsible for the following:

Assisting with on-court coaching and video analysis

Utilizing DataVolley and Volleymetrics

Assisting in the preparation of scouting reports, statistical breakdowns, and opponent video breakdown

Assuming all duties in the absence of the Head Coach

Performing other duties as assigned

The work hours for this position include weekend, evening, and early morning hours. Travel is required.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree 

Two years of volleyball coaching experience

Preferred Qualification:

Two years of volleyball recruiting and coaching experience at the Division 1 level

Salary and Benefits   Target hiring range is $52,000 - $61,000 and full University benefits that include up to 17 holidays and 15 sick days; excellent health, life, and retirement plans; and tuition remission.
