Title: Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach
Job Location: Paw Paw High School
Reports To: Athletic Director
Job Type: 2026/2027 Season Contract
Qualifications: - Must possess high school diploma
- Extensive experience with Volleyball
- Cap 1 and/or Cap 2 certification (prior to season)
- First Aid and CPR certified (prior to season)
- Successful past coaching experience, preferred
- Knowledge of the MHSAA Volleyball rules and regulations, preferred
- Ability to work within a coordinated Volleyball curriculum from youth through varsity level
- Strong personal and social skills, with the ability to effectively communicate using a variety of media
Job Description: - Responsible for all Varsity Volleyball practices, games and related activities
- Coordinate in-season and out-of-season training / conditioning opportunities for grades 9-12
- Work within a program philosophy and curriculum that builds upon itself from grades 9-12
- Develop cohesive coaching relationships that work to develop players from grades 9-12
- Responsible for all equipment and uniform inventory of the team
- Teach and instruct all aspects of Volleyball, while working to develop and emphasize positive character traits in all athletes
- Provide coaching, encouragement, and guidance to all athletes in the program
- Build meaningful positive relationships with staff and student body
- Motivate players and coaches to work toward program and philosophy goals
- Other duties may be assigned by the Athletic Director
Salary/Benefits: Per VBCEA/PPEA, MEA-NEA contract Schedule C
