TITLE: Performance Dietitian
DEPARTMENT: Team Operations, Pride

WHAT SETS YOU APART
The Dietician will work closely with the Head of Performance as well as other team staff to deliver an elevated level of performance-enhancing nutritional support to aid and educate our athletes. This position will manage all aspects of performance nutrition; training/away game meals, pre/post training nutrition, supplementation, hydration, individual plans, labs, and body composition. The position will be based at the Pride training complex in Sanford, FL.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess and analyze dietary habits/needs, body composition, blood work, and athlete's supplementation.
Work with athletes to create individualized plans to help meet performance and personal goals.
Facilitate daily needs regarding pre- and post-training fueling and supplementation.
Oversee and manage relationships with local catering providers.
Oversee and manage food and supplement ordering and distribution.
Create and manage in and out-of-market menu planning.
Create nutritional education materials and programming to engage athletes and staff through regular delivery and through various mediums.
Maintain regular and effective communication about players' status and needs with additional staff as needed.
Accompany the team during travel to provide on-site nutritional guidance, optimize meal planning, and ensure athletes maintain peak performance through proper dietary practices.
Demonstrate a commitment to understanding the unique nutritional and physiological needs of professional female athletes through ongoing education, research, and application of evidence-based practices.

Bachelor’s degree in clinical nutrition, food and nutrition, food science, sports nutrition, or related fields.
Registered Dietitian license required.
2 + years of experience working in professional, elite, or collegiate sports nutrition.
Servsafe certified.
Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office programs.
High level of skill in organization, communication, and time management.
Ability to work a non-traditional work week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and abide by HIPAA regulations.
Ability to pass a background check.
Ability to obtain and maintain SafeSport certification.
Master’s degree in nutrition, food science, or exercise physiology (preferred).
Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (preferred).
3+ year professional experience in elite sports (preferred).
ISAK Level 1 Anthropometrist certification (preferred).
