Employment Type: Salaried (Full Time)

Compensation: $85,000-$90,000 annually (Based on experience and team assignments)

Position Overview

The Girls DOC is responsible for the leadership and daily management of all SBSC girls teams (U8–U19) across Elite and Competitive levels. This role ensures consistent program execution, technical standards, and positive player development experiences. The Director of Girls Programs acts as the primary point of support for coaches, players, and families within the girls program, working collaboratively with the DOC and club administration to support club-wide alignment and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical oversight for all girls teams (U8–U19)

• Lead the Girls Academy Aspire program

• Manage coach assignments, onboarding, and ongoing evaluation in collaboration with the DOC

• Coordinate with Director of Administration and Director of Programs to support schedules,

communication, and program delivery

• Prepare and support DOC with briefings and reports for the Board

• Act as the first point of contact for coach, parent, and player issues

• Monitor player and team development against SBSC standards

• Provide mentorship, cover coaching, and technical support as needed

• Ensure all compliance standards are upheld, including AB 506

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• USSF B license preferred (working towards USSF B license within 18-month period)

• 5+ years of youth coaching experience working with female athletes preferred

• Experience in staff management, team leadership, or program oversight

• Strong leadership and communication abilities

• Familiarity with age-appropriate coaching methodology and long-term development models

• Knowledge of scheduling, team logistics, and player IDPs

• Ability to resolve conflicts and support a collaborative culture

• Comfort with scheduling tools, registration platforms, and communication systems

• A passion for mentorship, youth development, and gender-equitable programming

Work Schedule

• ~20 hours/week administrative responsibilities

• Coaching responsibilities - coach within the Girls Academy

• 12-month position with flexible scheduling and weekend commitments

• Travel for tournaments and club events 

• Includes paid time off and professional development support
