THE POSITION
The Sales Analyst will support the sponsorship sales team with research, analysis and data on potential sponsors. She/He will be responsible for generating research reports, data sets, market/category/brand specific insights and sales materials as well as the management of the Business Development Directory.
She/He will also be responsible for supporting the sales team in building compelling sales presentations utilising a range of internal and external data and partner case-studies. A key role in supporting sponsorship sales and strategic partnerships for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027™, with a strong focus on the Brazilian and LATAM markets.
The role requires deep market knowledge, a robust network in the region, and the ability to communicate fluently in English and Portuguese. Spanish is considered a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the Head of Partnership Sales, FIFA Women’s World Cup Sales Lead and the broader commercial team to deliver on sponsorship sales objectives for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™, with a strong emphasis on the Brazilian and LATAM markets.
- Work closely with the Partnership Sales team to deliver sponsorship and sales objectives, identifying and pursuing high-value sponsorship leads aligned with the commercial strategy of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™.
- Support the sales team research function, building compelling sales presentations utilising a range of internal and external data and partner case-studies.
- Conduct in-depth desk and internet research.
- Produce a range of materials (in collaboration with creative team) to support the sales managers throughout commercial discussions.
- Become primary liaison with external suppliers and various internal research departments.
- Support the sales team in sourcing, qualifying, and engaging potential sponsors, supporting generating tailored partnership proposals for major regional and international brands.
- Ensure timely and accurate update and management of the CRM system for the FWWC27 Commercial team
- Collaborate with the Strategy and Planning team to identify market opportunities and build compelling sales arguments.
- Stay informed on emerging sponsorship categories, regional industry trends, and relevant market research, including pricing and inventory benchmarks.
- Support the organisation of commercial events, conferences, hosting programmes, dedicated to cultivating business relationships and building into the sales pipeline.
YOUR PROFILE
- Highly professional, articulate and results-driven.
- Proven experience in similar roles within sponsorship sales, business development, or commercial partnerships, preferably in sports or entertainment.
- Experience using consumer insights platforms (ex. GlobalWebIndex)
- Exposure to media value reports and how they’re used in sponsorship
- Familiarity with market research platforms and broader sponsorship market
- Strong understanding of the Brazilian and LATAM commercial landscape.
- Ability to work independently in a multi-task position within a dynamic, team-based environment.

- Excellent in Word / PowerPoint / Excel / PDF / MS Teams / Salesforce and other CRM tools
- Fluent in English and Portuguese, any other FIFA language (Spanish especially) is an advantage
- Ability to travel often and when required.
- Right to work in Brazil.
- Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro.
