We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Phoenix Mercury 602 Crew to assist team members with making Phoenix Mercury home games the most exciting and engaging entertainment experience. The 602 Crew will engage fans with charisma and energy while supporting live presentation elements that will improve fan experiences, retain ticket holders, and fulfill partner objectives

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with game set up including props, t-shirts, signs, flags, prizing, etc.
  • Greet, escort, and support any outside performers including halftime, National Anthem, DJ’s, primetime performances, and other special guests
  • Stage Manage select in-game promotions including t-shirt tosses, upper-level activation, fan giveaways, on-court presentations, and halftime entertainment
  • Assist during time-outs as needed
  • Assist with all team clean-up
  • Assist with outside team events when necessary

 

What We Need From Our Phoenix Mercury 602 Crew:

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to gain experience in live entertainment
  • Able to work odd hours including weekends, evenings, and some holidays

Experience/ Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Fundamental knowledge or experience in live presentation, sports, and entertainment
  • At least 2 years of experience as a stage manager for a live sporting event preferred

  • Ability to transit throughout the arena for long periods of time.
  • This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%
  • S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person.
  • Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
