MATCH DAY STAFF

JOB DESCRIPTION
Match Day Staff play a key role in ensuring smooth and successful home matches. This position involves supporting all aspects of event operations, from setup to teardown, while delivering excellent service to fans and guests.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with all aspects of event setup and teardown, including staging, signage, equipment, and fan areas
• Support stadium operations during matches to ensure a safe, organized, and enjoyable environment
• Provide assistance to fans, including wayfinding, seating guidance, and general inquiries
• You may be assigned different roles based on staffing levels; roles may include box office/sales, team liaison, community experience assistant and more
• Comply with all league and venue rules and regulations
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by event supervisors or management

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be available to work all AFC Toronto home matches – matches are held at either BMO Field or York Lions Stadium
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
• Ability to lift light-to-moderate equipment

• Passion for sports and live events; post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset but not required

TYPE OF POSITION & LOCATION
• Part Time / Seasonal (Match Days)
• Must attend all matches played at York Lions Stadium and BMO Field

HOURLY RATE
• $20/hr
