As a Marketing Intern for the WER, you will be expected to support our Marketing Team in making posts, interacting with fans/followers, and maintaining current, accurate information about the league throughout our various platforms. This role involves brainstorming and implementing creative ways to grow the WER as we promote the inaugural season and expand our fan base.
Knowledge of various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, etc.) is essential, as is a willingness to learn new programs as needed. As a WER Marketing Intern, you must be self-motivated and able to work independently on projects. Timeliness and consistent communication with team members is required. All members of the WER are expected to have a passion for creating an inclusive, joyful space for where professional womenβs rugby can grow and succeed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Regularly post on our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, etc.)
Interact with followers and engage with current and prospective fans
Produce weekly content
Brainstorm content/campaign ideas.
Other duties as assigned
