JV Softball Coach

Description of Position and Duties:

The JV Softball Coach will work with and under the Head Softball Coach and Activities Director in providing leadership and instruction to the Albany Huskies Softball program within the philosophy and rules of Albany Area Schools, the Albany Huskies Athletics Program and in accordance with the Minnesota State High School League.  This person must be able to build relationships and work successfully with student athletes, assistant coaches, parents, the community, the Activities Director and school administration as well as other programs/coaches in the District.

Scheduled hours and days per week:

Season Dates: Late March - Late May
Monday – Friday
3:00pm – 6:00pm
Practice and Game times as scheduled throughout the season - there will be weekend and evening competitions.  There are off season duties and expectations as well.

Education Required/Qualifications:

• Coaching Experience preferred, but not required
• Applicants must meet MSHSL Coaching and Concussion Requirements
