The Professional Women’s Hockey League (“PWHL”) is seeking a highly motivated, positive and resilient individual for the role of In-Arena Host for the PWHL Seattle team. This position reports to the Game Presentation & Fan Experience Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the on-camera execution of in-arena promotions, intermission games and crowd engagement
- Interact with fans on camera to enhance crowd excitement and overall experience
- Contribute on microphones to arena entertainment and fan enthusiasm.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the PWHL Seattle team’s home schedule
- Must be able to work 13 home games per the PWHL Seattle team’s schedule
- Must be a team player with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must exemplify outstanding time management and communication skills and a professional attitude
- Must have knowledge of and a passion for ice hockey and the PWHL
- Must have experience working live events
SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
- Strong presence on camera and with a live microphone
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to work on-site
