Position Summary:
The Head Women’s Soccer Coach is responsible for the management and administration of all phases of the women’s soccer program. The Head Women’s Soccer Coach is expected to adhere to the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics.

Department of Athletics
Primary Duties:
Ability to recruit quality student-athletes who can excel in both athletics and academics;
Develop practice and game strategies, which will allow the team to be successful;
Ensure an atmosphere of compliance with all institutional, conference, and national association rules and regulations;
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics or the President of the University.
Secondary Duties:
Develop and adhere to an annual budget for the women’s soccer program;
Participate in public relations activities, speaking engagements, and interviews;
Support and participate in fundraising initiatives for the Department of Athletics under the direction of the Director of Athletics
Develop a competitive schedule and coordinate travel details for road contests.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree;
Extensive knowledge of the sport of soccer with a demonstrated ability to teach the sport;
College coaching experience or high school head coaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree;
Experience recruiting and coaching at the collegiate level;
Head Coaching Experience.
Knowledge and Skills :
A demonstrated knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a college soccer program and athletic department;
A proven record in following directives and being responsible for tasks, which have been assigned.
