Head Women's Lacrosse Coach

Potsdam, New York, The department of Athletics and Recreation at Clarkson University invites applicants to apply for the 10 month full time position of Head Women's Lacrosse Coach. The women's lacrosse program competes at the NCAA Division III level and is a member of the Liberty League. A successful coach for Clarkson will provide effective leadership in each of the following areas: recruiting, teaching, coaching, counseling, marketing, alumni relations, fund raising, sport administration, and other duties as assigned. It will be necessary to prioritize and balance these activities in a manner that best promotes and advances women's lacrosse within all Clarkson University, Liberty League, and NCAA rules and regulations. Previous collegiate coaching experience or, success as a head coach at the high school level.   Demonstrated commitment to furthering the goals and objectives of both, the University and Athletics Department, Ability to successfully recruit quality student-athletes, Understanding of the role of the student-athlete in a competitive academic/athletic environment, and Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a variety of constituency groups.  Knowledge of the NCAA Division III rules and regulations
