Minimum Requirements: | Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in a High School Content Area. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university. Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the middle school or high school level. | ||
Primary Purpose: | This position provides students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The teacher enables students to develop that promote students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. The teacher employs strategies that promote student success. Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and ability to excel at the girls volleyball varsity level. Contribute to overall educational program at the campus and the growth of students involve d in athletics. | ||
Special Knowledge/Skills: | Ability to employ strategies that lead to student academics and athletics success. Treats all people with dignity and respect. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with administrators, other teacher, students, parents and other staff. Knowledge of assigned subjects. General knowledge of curriculum and instruction. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures, specifically in the sport of volleyball. Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules.
