Newberry, South Carolina, Newberry College Women’s Soccer is seeking a Graduate Assistant (Goalkeeper Coach) for the upcoming academic year. This position is ideal for someone passionate about coaching, player development, and being part of a competitive NCAA Division II program in the South Atlantic Conference (SAC).
The Graduate Assistant will work directly with the Head Coach and coaching staff in all aspects of the women’s soccer program, with a specific focus on the training and development of goalkeepers. The position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on coaching experience while pursuing a graduate degree.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.Planning and executing goalkeeper training sessions.
2.Assisting with team practices, match preparation, and film analysis.
3.Recruiting prospective student-athletes.
4.Game-day operations and travel coordination.
5.Supporting the overall academic and athletic success of the program.
Bachelor’s degree required. Previous playing and/or coaching experience as a goalkeeper preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Must be accepted into a Newberry College graduate program
