The Central Islip Board of Education is seeking candidates for the following position:

• TEAM/SPORT:  JV Girls Volleyball
• POSITION:   Interim Head Coach
• SEASON:  Fall 2026
• POST TO: District Wide

 The minimum requirement for the position is appropriate New York State certification.
Among the factors the Superintendent will also consider in making the decision are the following:

• The quality of experience
• The education and experience of the candidate beyond the minimum required
• The appropriateness of the education and experience to the specific duties of the position
• The filling of these positions shall not violate rules and regulations governing excess and recall nor result in the excessing of staff
• No respondent to the posting may be assigned to the performance of a paid duty that runs concurrently with the duties of a position for which the respondent is currently being compensated
