Dallas PULSE Volleyball Operations Internship

Position Overview

The Dallas PULSE Game Day Operations Intern plays a vital role in supporting the successful execution of home matches by assisting with event preparation, game-day operations, and post-match breakdown. Working closely with the athletic training, volleyball operations, and game day staff, this position will help ensure all equipment, facilities, and game-day resources are properly prepared, maintained, and secured. The intern will contribute to creating a professional environment for players, coaches, officials, and visiting teams while providing operational support wherever needed throughout the event.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist Athletic trainer with setting up and cleaning up equipment (splints, AEDs, ice chests, crutches, bikes, water gallons, powerade gallons, etc.)

• Ensuring the court and associated equipment (balls, net, etc.) are ready for both teams prior to arrival

• Inspect the visiting team locker room for any remaining towels, equipment, or forgotten items, making sure the locker room is up to league standards

• Aid Director of Volleyball Operations in accommodating the visiting team and referees with any requested needs

• Support the Operations staff as needed during match for task on and off the court

• Conduct a final inspection of arena to ensure all equipment is in correct place and secured

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and transport athletic equipment, water containers, and ice chests safely.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced athletic environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move equipment for extended periods.

• Ability to work all home Dallas PULSE game days

Work Environment

This role operates in both office and event environments and may require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and working during live sporting events.
