The Washington Spirit is seeking a Coordinator of Partnership Solutions to play a key role in supporting both the development and execution of corporate partnerships. This position is responsible for serving as the "creative engine" for the department, assisting in new business efforts through proposal design, managing CRM and sales tools, and providing high-level operational support to the department and Vice President, Corporate Partnerships. The ideal candidate will be strongly motivated to contribute, learn, and grow. They should also have a “figure it out” mentality, and be an ultimate teammate and collaborator.  

Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and deliver compelling, high-design sales presentations (using PowerPoint and Photoshop) to support new business pitches, category expansion opportunities, and special projects 
  • Assist in management and analysis of CRM and data software platforms (e.g., SponsorCX, Vision Insights, Zoomph) to support the Partnership Development team throughout the sales process 
  • Provide administrative support to the department and to the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships 
  • Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Partnerships and the Partnership Development team to identify revenue opportunities and track league and industry trends for prospecting initiatives 
  • Coordinate alignment across Marketing, Community, and Fan Experience departments to develop, approve, and execute partner programs 
  • Assist the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact events for top-tier partners and prospective clients 
  • Manage partnership merchandise inventory and thoughtfully curated gifting experiences for partners and prospects 
  • Support matchday and event activations 
  • Provide additional support to the Partnership team as needed 

Qualifications: 
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in activation, sports marketing, agency account service, or business development 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop is required (must be able to create decks and mock-ups from scratch) 
  • Communication: Strong copywriting and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly 
  • Availability: Must be available to work all Washington Spirit home matches and select partner events (evenings/weekends)
