Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time Club Bartenders to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly while providing an excellent guest experience.

Unit Description

Delaware North manages food and beverage services at Climate Pledge Arena, home of the NHL’s Seattle Kraken, WNBA’s Seattle Storm, and premier live music and entertainment. The 740,000-square-foot, renewable energy-powered building is the first net zero-certified arena in the world! Delaware North’s Climate Collective offers the most locally focused, sustainable menu in the sports and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Receives drink orders from patrons or servers, mixes and serves alcohol and non-alcohol drinks for patrons following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions; serves wine and bottled beer or draws draught beer.
  • Serves alcohol beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
  • Enters drink orders into the POS system, collects payment from patrons for drinks served..
  • Completes sales and inventory reports accurately.
  • Maintains bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies.
  • Cleans and stores bar equipment and bar stock.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • At least two years of bartending experience required.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Experience in credit card processing.
  • Previous experience using a computerized POS system

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift.
  • Constant walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions. 
  • Ability to lift stock up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Exposure to moderate to high environmental noise levels during busy times.
