ABOUT THE POSITION Tampa Bay Sun FC is Tampa Bay’s first professional women’s team! We are kicking off the 2nd half of our inaugural season on February 8th and are looking for box office operations staff to assist with our ticket operations on game days!
JOB SUMMARY
Assist customers by selling admission tickets.
Accept payment and make change before giving tickets to customers.
Operate handheld ticket scanners and collaborate to resolve ticket scanning issues
Provide accurate answers concerning events, tickets and schedules of upcoming events in person or on the telephone.
Ability to deal tactfully, helpfully and professionally with the public to provide event
information and accurately complete ticket transactions.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends – event by event basis.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
SeatGeek knowledge, preferred but not required.
Box office experience, preferred but not required.
High School diploma or G.E.D., required
Excellent organization skills.
Ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member.
Ability to work weekends and nights on an event to event basis.
Valid driver’s license required.
Bilingual, preferred but not required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT
Must be able to pass all background and safeguarding checks.
Strong customer service skills
Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some computer knowledge.
