Summary

Ursuline College is seeking candidates for an Assistant Soccer Coach. Ursuline College is a member of NCAA Division II and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC). This is a 12-month full-time position, however, during the summer months, there are only limited hours. Position reports to the Head Soccer Coach and starts August 1, 2025.

Responsibilities

Duties include (not limited to): assisting in all practice sessions, skill instruction and competitive events; developing and executing practice plans; monitoring player fitness and weight training programs; planning team travel; assisting with recruitment of student-athletes; completing compliance and budget forms; organize and manage gear, equipment, and inventory; assisting in fund raising and community service; video exchange and review; the academic success of student-athletes; summer camps; and general program administration or other duties assigned by the head coach.

Qualifications

1)Bachelor’s Degree.

2)Coaching experience or collegiate playing experience required.

3)Demonstrated experience working in an inclusive environment.

4)Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record and the ability to drive vans.

5)Commitment to high standards of character as well as a commitment to student-athlete success both academically and athletically.
