Lyon College invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month position as assistant coach of its women’s fast pitch varsity softball program beginning immediately. The primary responsibilities of the assistant coach include recruiting, coaching JV team, coaching
pitchers, monitoring athlete’s academic progress, assisting in practice and game preparation, performing equipment care and inventory. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of and ability to comply with the NCAA D3, conference, and institution rules
and regulations. A bachelor’s degree is required. Additional responsibilities include teaching a limited number of physical education courses and other duties as assigned. Individuals must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented and able to work as a
member of a team. Position requires extensive weekend and evening assignments. Travel required
