Assistant Coach - Women's Swimming and Diving (seasonal)

New London, Connecticut, Connecticut College, a member of the NCAA Division 3 and NESCAC, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Coach for our Women's Swimming and Diving team. The Assistant Coach will play a crucial role in supporting the head coach in all aspects of the program, including planning, organizing, and executing training sessions, developing student-athletes both in and out of the pool, and providing guidance and mentorship. They will assist in recruiting student-athletes, analyzing performance, and implementing strategies to enhance team success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in competitive swimming, coaching experience, and a commitment to the holistic development of student-athletes. They should possess excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Bachelor's degree

Previous coaching experience preferred

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Experience in competitive swimming
