Assistant Coach of Women's Tennis
Washington and Lee UniversityIn collaboration with head coach and athletic administrative staff, the Assistant Coach of Women’s Tennis plans practices to teach, encourage, and develop student athlete skills and tennis techniques. The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting student-athletes’ wellbeing and holistic development and teaches one to two physical education courses annually. The position is also responsible for identifying and recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, scouting opponents, managing team travel, and organizing community service activities. The Assistant Coach will demonstrate commitment to the W&L philosophy by emphasizing academic priorities for student-athletes as well as the importance of good citizenship on and off the court. Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.
Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
Working Conditions: The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside. Offers are based on factors such as qualifications, relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and market and organizational considerations.
