Are you looking for a purpose driven role with no weekends and steady time commitment? As an After School coach, you’ll commit 1-3 days a week from 3:00 -6:00 p.m. and be compensated $17 an hour. You'll receive training and you’ll be expected to commit to 10 weeks. As an After School Coach, You Will: • Assist in the instruction of our After School program • Learn and lead the curriculum used for programming up to 30 participants (Grades 3-8 th Grade) • Attend coaches’ training meetings and complete weekly progress forms • Organize and maintain program materials and equipment Preferred Skills: • Ability to work from a strength-based and/or youth development perspective • Experience and enthusiasm to work with youth and adults in a variety of settings and activities • Capacity to engage others from diverse cultures and various sectors of the community • Excellent facilitation, communication and writing skills • Ability to perform in a proactive and self-directed fashion as well as a contributing team member • Flexibility, positive attitude, and desire to continually improve professional skills • Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply • Ability to report to assigned site, reliable transportation is a plus.
