USL Spokane—home to Spokane Zephyr FC and Spokane Velocity FC—is looking for a results-driven Account Executive to power our ticket sales and fan engagement. This is your opportunity to play a key role in the growth of a dynamic, community-focused club and help shape the revenue engine behind our success on and off the field.
In this role, you'll be responsible for generating new ticket sales and servicing existing accounts—including season tickets, partial plans, group packages, and individual game sales. We're seeking a motivated, self-starter with a passion for sales, relationship-building, and delivering top-tier customer service to fans, partners, and stakeholders across the region.

The Account Executive must be available for USL Spokane home games and must be able to work flexible hours which will include extended days, nights, weekends, and holidays.  Must have a proven ability to build respectful working relationships and effectively communicate with employees, management, vendors, contractors, and community partners.  Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams is key.  A high degree of personal initiative and a proven track record of personal and team achievements is required.  A successful candidate must be able to solve problems quickly and prioritize and manage multiple projects, work independently in multi-faceted, fast, fluid, and deadline-driven environments.  Must be able to demonstrate a superior customer service skillset by ensuring each interaction leaves the individual feeling heard, appreciated, understood, and valued.  
 
Key or Essential Functions: 
  • Generate individual ticket and season ticket revenue through conducting outbound calls and emails and inbound channels: 
    • Inventory available for sales includes group ticket pages, season tickets, season ticket upgrades, upsells & add-ons, partial/mini-plan packages, and single game tickets. 
    • Conduct daily sales and relationship cultivation phone calls, messages (electronic, mailings, etc.) with prospective buyers. 
    • Service the inbound ticket sales phone line to answer general fan questions and sell ticket packages. 
  • Actively prospects new business opportunities. Strategize, identify, and target potential sales opportunities who align with the team’s audience, brand, and values. 
  • Attend networking events to build relationships and build positive relationships. 
  • Network and build relationships in and around the surrounding region. Build and foster relationships with past, current, and potential new clients. 
  • Focus on creating new relationships with community organizations, such as youth sports, school, local businesses, etc. with the idea of selling tickets and full spectrum of offerings. 
  • Build authentic relationships with internal (co-workers) and external (community members). 
  • Conduct out of office meetings with current and potential partners. Develop and deliver dynamic sales presentations for current and new business prospects. 
  • Give facility tours with the intent to close business. 
  • Responsible for personal sales goals and contributing to annual revenue growth. 
  • Build and manage a multi-year book of business. 
  • Develop new and creative methods to boost group ticket revenue. Assist in the development of ticket marketing, promotions, ticket pricing, sales strategies, and community ticket/sampling programs, etc. 
  • Contributes to the strategic plan and direction for group sales and sets strategy in alignment with individual and company goals. 
  • Assist in development and implementation of season ticket sales plans designed to meet annual goals. Assists with the creation, planning, communication, and implementation of special ticket plans, projects, promotions, and programs. 
  • Create and sell marketing/advertising program utilizing all existing team-controlled inventory that effectively meet a variety of client goals and marketing objectives. 
  • Assist in the development and entire execution of approved Annual Business and Sales Plan and Operating Budget. 
  • Represent the organization at in-house facility events and off-site community events promoting ticket sales and the organization. 
  • Maintain records of all customers and prospects by utilizing CRM tool. 
  • Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales figures and relevant accountability, as well as relevant communications of those results. 
  • Completion of administrative tasks such as invoice delivery, payroll reporting, sales commissions, monthly expenses, etc. 
  • Participate in, conduct, or present in internal sales meetings. 
  • Support other departments to organize and implement large theme nights. 
  • Collaborate with Account Executive - Team Lead to ensure clear expectations on level of autonomy and reporting or approval procedures. 
  • This position must be able to work flexible hours which may include extended days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Game Day Responsibilities: 
  • Assist with client and fan entertainment as needed. 
  • Assist with promotional execution as needed. 
  • Assist other departments when necessary.
 
Minimum Qualifications Include: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, sports management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience in ticket sales  
  • Ability to pass comprehensive background check including a motor vehicle report
  • Ability to pass SafeSport Training
  • Possess and maintain a current and valid driver’s license and maintain legally required insurance

Compensation and Benefits: 
  • Non-Exempt position with a pay range of $22 per hour, plus competitive tiered commission structure
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus 
  • Paid 2 weeks vacation (prorated first year of employment) and paid sick leave at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked 
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance provided with a 75% employer contribution for employee premiums. 
  • 50% employer contribution for dependent/spouse medical, dental, and vision.  
  • Employer paid employee life insurance and AD&D.
