Here's a summary of responsibilities: Team USA is seeking a visionary and commercially minded Vice President, Partnerships to build and lead partner marketing capability across the organization. This is a pivotal leadership role that will shape how Team USA creates, activates, and governs partnerships, driving meaningful value for athletes, national governing bodies (NGBs), communities, and commercial stakeholders alike. As a strategic thought leader, the VP will serve as the connective tissue between Team USA's commercial ambitions and its broader mission, establishing the frameworks, processes, and relationships needed to deliver exceptional partner experiences.

Strategic Partnership Leadership
Drive partner ideation and co-creation, shaping joint marketing efforts that align brand objectives with Team USA's mission and values.
Champion a consultative approach to third-party partnerships, acting as a trusted advisor for brand activation strategy across all stakeholder groups.
Consult to develop a flame-to-flame partnership approach, creating continuity and momentum across Olympic and Paralympic cycles.
Build and begin cultivating key partner relationships, demonstrating tangible value that establishes trust and momentum on the road to LA28.
Process & Governance
Lead the partner briefing process for cross-division concept development, ensuring alignment across Commercial, Athlete, Community & NGB, and other stakeholder groups.
Build and institutionalize a scalable partner briefing and collaboration process to streamline partnership workflows and elevate co-creation outcomes.
Oversee enablement and governance of third-party marks usage, ensuring compliance with key stakeholders and brand standards.
Identify and develop new partner marketing opportunities that elevate Team USA's commercial proposition and brand presence.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the internal and external champion for partner marketing across Commercial, Athlete, Community & NGB stakeholder groups.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure partner activations are integrated, impactful, and aligned with organizational priorities.
Represent Team USA's partnership vision in external forums, partner summits, and strategic planning sessions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, media, sport management, or a related field or equivalent work experience
10+ years of progressive experience in partnership marketing, brand strategy, or commercial development within sports, entertainment, or a related industry.
Demonstrated success building and scaling partnership marketing programs, including governance frameworks and activation playbooks.
Deep expertise in co-branded marketing, third-party licensing, and marks governance.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders across a complex organization.
Exceptional relationship-building skills with a track record of delivering value to commercial partners.
Strong understanding of Olympic and Paralympic ecosystem dynamics, including IOC guidelines and NGB structures, preferred.
Experience in a national sports governing body, Olympic organizing committee, or major sports rights holder.
Familiarity with brand architecture development and commercial packaging in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Background in launching new marketing platforms or go-to-market frameworks.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
Quantitative fluency and comfort using data, brand tracking, and performance analytics to set strategy, allocate budget, and demonstrate ROI
Ability to build capabilities from the ground up by designing structures, talent models, and processes that scale and endure
Ability to see the whole brand ecosystem, including architecture, identity, narrative, experience, and measurement
Skill in translating vision into executable frameworks
Ability to connect brand investment to revenue outcomes with clarity
Proven ability to manage a large variety of complex, cross-functional projects calmly and simultaneously
Skill in speaking the language of brand to sponsors, partners, and business stakeholders to garner support and investment

Hiring pay range $215,000 - $235,000 per year. This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week. Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 25% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
