POSITION OVERVIEW
The Ticketing Specialist (Part-Time) will support the Ticket Sales and Service teams across all campaigns. This individual will be responsible for executing outbound sales calls, engaging with prospective and current customers, and contributing to revenue generation efforts. Beyond sales responsibilities, the Ticketing Specialist will actively contribute to the day-to-day operations of Chicago Stars FC matchdays and outside community events.
The Ticketing Specialist should demonstrate success in customer service and be ready to contribute to the goals of the Chicago Stars FC Ticketing Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
 
·       Provide support across ticket sales campaigns, including single-match, group, and season ticket membership initiatives
·       Conduct research and brainstorm new benefits, incentives, events, and experiences for the department
·       Provide care and quality service to all customers/prospects
·       Support the sales team in creating, updating, and managing FEVO pages
·       Develop a comprehensive understanding of the full ticket sales process
·       Update customer information in CRM when needed
·       Assist in the planning, development, and execution of both prospecting and season ticket member events
·       Assist sales team with prospecting and generating new leads
·       Assist with the box office on matchdays
·       Help coordinate matchday fan experiences for groups
 
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
 
·       Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
·       Must possess knowledge of the NWSL and the Chicago Stars FC, or a willingness to learn, and be able to put this knowledge to work in engaging with fans and the public
·       Strong verbal and written communication skills
·       Must have access to reliable transportation to get to and from events across the Chicagoland area and home matches in Evanston, IL

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
·       Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
·       Ability to stand, walk, and actively engage with people for a few hours
 LOCATION/SCHEDULE
·       This position is based in the Chicago Stars Front Office (West Loop)
·       Part-Time, 16- 20 hours per week, hybrid schedule. Hours may vary based on business needs
·       Must be able to commute to off-site event locations around the Chicago area as needed
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
·       Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Marketing, or Communication
