Spring Coach - Girls Modified Softball Coach

The Utica City School District is in need of a coach for the following sport:

Girls Modified Softball

Level: Modified

Season: Spring

Qualifications:

N.Y.S. Certification as a Teacher AND 

• First Aid
• CPR
• Concussion Management Course
  • CDC HEADS UP(link is external)
  • NFHS Concussion in Sports(link is external)
• Coaching Coursework

OR

NYS Certified Coach: (Must apply for the certification through TEACH)

• First Aid
• CPR
• Concussion Management Course
  • CDC HEADS UP(link is external)
  • NFHS Concussion in Sports(link is external)
• Child Abuse workshop
• School Violence workshop
• DASA Training
• Fingerprint clearance
• Coaching Coursework

Salary: As per U.T.A. Contract Extracurricular Pay Scale 2025-26.

Pay is determined by the Schedule for Extracurricular Indicies per the UTA contract and the Step/Years of experience coaching and ranges from $471 to $13,475.
