Social Media / Content Creator- The Dallas PULSE
Position Overview
The Dallas PULSE, 2026 Major League Volleyball Champions, is seeking a highly creative content creator with strong business acumen within social media. This role captures, edits, and posts relevant content in support of brand initiatives, ticket sales, and community events across multiple social/digital channels. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistent brand expression, visual storytelling, smooth project flow and effective coordination with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, social media savvy and able to manage multiple social projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience working within collegiate or professional sports—specifically volleyball—is highly preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media and Content Creation
-Develop and maintain the year round content calendar
-Create Social content with assigned weekly deliverables producing a high volume of posts, stories and reels
-Capture photography and video content, edit footage and post reels (daily)
-Keen understanding of how to execute both marketing-centric content and organic social media
-Ability to translate content relevant to each channel’s purpose and audience
-Pitch ideas and concepts for social storytelling content and on going social series
-Travel to select practices, team outings and events to capture content and create recap reels
-Work in tandem with the Marketing Director for assignments, specifications, and timelines
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather updates, stories, and promotional content
-Ensure accurate formatting, proofing, and timely completion
-Translate content for broad range of channels (Tik Tok, Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube)
-Maintain server organization, archiving, and proper file management for content database and tracking
-Collaborate, tag, follow and engage with all other MLV teams and league
-Provide league and front office analytics and illustrate social tracking, performance and best practices
In-Game Social Support
- Assist in a variety of activities needed for game day preparation
- Live posting and coordinating with pro photographers and videographers in the delivery of required league assets during and post games. Photo editing, choosing and approving selects
-Capture key moments, celebrity sightings, pregame panels or any other activations
Events Social Support
- Support event logistics and participate in events as needed to ensure successful execution
- Capture content, sound bites, and b-roll and edit recap reels often with one day turn around for social posting
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Marketing, Design or a related creative field
- Minimum 2 years career experience in social media. Preferably for a sports franchise
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on accuracy and creativity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; - Bi-lingual a plus
- Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, Adobe
- Social media proficiency and editing skills, Canva, Capcut; Social analytics, Sprout Social and other platforms
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Team mindset
- Ability to travel as necessary for events, meetings and other planned outings
