Here's a summary of responsibilities:
Working directly with the Sr. Dir. FP&A, provide onboarding services, advisory guidance, and project assistance to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in a focused set of divisions. This is a part-time temporary position with an anticipated work schedule of a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Here's how you'll have an impact:
Assist in the onboarding of new Assoc. Dir. of FP&A in the core tasks and processes for Sport, Business Operations, and Strategy & Growth divisions.
Provide historical context, training and assistance in the organizational budgeting process and core supporting documents.
Provide budget, forecast and workforce training in Adaptive Planning module to the appropriate parties.
Provide onboarding and training to appropriate parties on the Sport Benefit Statement and games reconciliation processes.
Work on other ad hoc projects as agreed upon.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
CPA and/or MBA preferred
8+ years of experience in accounting and finance with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and/or executive-level reporting
5+ years of experience with not-for-profit organizations
5+ years of experience leading a multidisciplinary team
Experience with ERP systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and other financial systems, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability
Strong customer service skills
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, policies and processes
Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
Ability to act independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
