Job Title: Program Coordinator
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Executive Director
Position Overview: The United States Youth Volleyball League (USYVL) is a nonprofit organization serving over 10,000 children annually across more than 100 communities. Our mission is to provide every child ages 7–18 the opportunity to learn and play volleyball in a fun, safe, and supervised environment. We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and collaborative Program Coordinator to support the implementation, management, and growth of USYVL’s youth volleyball programs.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality youth volleyball programs aligned with USYVL’s mission and values; support marketing efforts to promote programs and attract new participants; recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Clinicians (Head Volleyball Coaches); coordinate program scheduling and secure facility permits; communicate effectively with participants, families, staff, and volunteers; recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate Volunteer Coaches; maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting.
Qualifications: Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills; experience developing, implementing, and managing programs; excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focus; proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to type 40+ WPM accurately; strong multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines; ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment; valid identification and reliable transportation.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 1 year of experience in program implementation, management, or development; bachelor’s degree preferred.
