Part-Time Grant Writer

Position Summary

Football For Her is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Part-Time Grant Writer to identify, write, submit, track, and report on grant opportunities that support our free youth soccer programming and organizational growth. This role will work closely with the Executive Director to develop compelling funding proposals, maintain grant compliance, and ensure all reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Grant Research & Prospecting

● Research and identify new grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.

● Maintain a pipeline of prospective funders and application deadlines.

● Recommend grants that align with Football For Her's mission and strategic priorities.

Grant Writing & Submission

● Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and letters of inquiry.

● Assist with the writing and submission of a minimum of five grant applications annually.

● Collaborate with staff to gather program data, budgets, narratives, and supporting documentation.

● Ensure all applications are submitted accurately and before deadlines.

Grant Reporting & Compliance

● Prepare and submit all required grant reports by funder deadlines.

● Manage reporting requirements for grants

● Work with program staff to collect impact data, participant stories, photos, and financial information needed for reports.

● Ensure compliance with all grant agreements and reporting obligations.

Grant Tracking & Administration

● Maintain a comprehensive grant tracking system that includes:
