Summary
Grimmer Middle School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to serve as the Girls Volleyball Coach for the 7th grade team. This seasonal position requires a passion for the sport, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive environment for student-athletes. The coach will be responsible for developing players' skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct daily practice sessions that enhance players' skills and understanding of the game.
- Develop game strategies and ensure players are prepared for competitions.
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding team expectations, schedules, and progress.
- Organize and oversee team events, including competitions and tournaments.
- Monitor and assess individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback to players.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during practices and games, adhering to all school and district policies.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote the volleyball program and enhance student engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, player progress, and any incidents that may occur during practices or games.

Requirements
- Previous coaching experience, preferably at the middle school or high school level, is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, strategies, and rules of the game.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages participation and development.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain prior to the start of the season.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for practices and games as required.
- A commitment to the academic and athletic development of student-athletes.
