Middle School Softball Coach

Academy of the Sacred Heart is currently accepting resumes for a Middle School Softball Coach. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Coaching Experience, 3-5 years prior High School or collegiate/high school playing experience
Middle School Softball Coach will:

• Understand, embrace, and implement the school's mission and philosophy as written in the Sacred Heart Goals and Criteria; participate in the Christ-centered life of the school; and model the school’s philosophy in working with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.
• Conduct practices, motivating students, and instructing student athletes in game strategies and techniques
• Instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success
• Work in collaboration with middle school, and middle school administrators
• Provide leadership in player development and game preparation.
• Provide weekly communication with players and parents on logistics and scheduling.
• Work in collaboration with Athletic Director/Assistant Athletic Director to handle other official content related to the middle school softball program
• Devote commitment, passion, and energy into all Sacred Heart athletic teams, including but not limited to attending sporting events and supporting fellow coaches and the Sacred Heart student-athletes.
• The position requires practices 2-3 times a week including matches/games. (Including Saturday)
