Position Overview:

Bellevue Community Schools is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Junior High Girls Volleyball Coach to lead and develop our program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mentoring student-athletes, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the game. This role includes overseeing practices, developing game strategies, and fostering sportsmanship and teamwork both on and off the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct practices, workouts, and conditioning sessions
• Develop game strategies and analyze team performance
• Supervise assistant coaches and support staff
• Promote a culture of discipline, hard work, and respect
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all athletes
• Manage equipment, uniforms, and team logistics
• Foster academic and personal development in players
• Represent the team in a positive manner within the school and community

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience (head or assistant) at the high school level preferred
• Strong knowledge of fundamentals, rules, and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Background check clearance
• Experience with team-building and player development
• Understanding of strength and conditioning programs

Compensation:

Based on Schedule B of the teachers contract
