The Women's Head Softball Coach is responsible for all phases of building and maintaining a successful women's intercollegiate softball program. This includes the preparation of the team for competition, monitoring the academic progress and success of the student athletes, and the recruiting of quality student athletes to participate in the program. This is a part-time seasonal (Spring/Fall) position.
Spring Season - $12,000 / Fall Season - $5,692.00

Examples of Duties Recruitment of potential student-athletes Practice preparation In and out-of season training Game/match day management Retention of quality student-athletes Ensure the success and safety of student athletes on and off the field Safe transportation of team members to and from away contests Adherence to all NJCAA, Region 19, RCSJ and Athletic Department rules and regulations Responsible for the fundraising and development of alumni and community relations Ability to be a team player within the Athletics Department and the College Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Athletics
Minimum Qualifications
Past playing and/or coaching experience in the sport is required. Associate's degree required Valid driver's license, which is currently in good standing Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Possess the ability to work well and communicate effectively with prospective and current students, staff, faculty, administration, colleagues, and community partners
