Here's a summary of responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the USOPC IMS – Skateboarding national team programs by developing and executing the annual plan.
• Oversee and direct relevant USOPC IMS - Skateboarding staff, as well as the contractors and volunteers, necessary to implement the program.
• Serve as the primary liaison for the sport with World Skate, National Governing Bodies, and other key stakeholders to support program delivery, sport governance, and future organizational planning.
• Work closely with USOPC Sport Performance teams and other relevant divisions in developing and implementing the program.
• Contribute to overall planning, sport planning, and implementation of USOPC IMS department priorities.
Here's how you'll have an impact:
• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the annual USOPC IMS - Skateboarding High Performance plan.
• Lead and supervise USOPC IMS - Skateboarding coaches, national team staff, other contractors, and volunteers as necessary to implement the program.
• Ensure communication with team athletes, coaches, and the broader athlete pool, including the development of team selection procedures, and similar documents.
• Responsible for the annual program budget, including planning, forecasting, and resource allocation to maximize program success and performance outcomes in alignment w/ department leadership.
• Develop and oversee strategy for national and international level Park and Street Skateboarding competitions.
• Serve as the sport lead for the USOPC IMS – Skateboarding program and liaise with key external stakeholders on program delivery, sport governance, and organizational planning, including World Skate, USA Roller Sports, regional skate parks, and other partners.
• Take leadership in developing and delivering on department goals and accountabilities as assigned.
• Perform other duties assigned.
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 10 years of experience in sport management and/or coaching at the elite junior, collegiate, national or international level; or the equivalent
• 5 years as a head coach leading three or more coaches, or equivalent supervisory experience
• Work with Paralympic programs desirable
• Proven ability to promote sport performance
• Demonstrated leadership of athletes and staff
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills

Hiring pay range $135,000 per year. This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week. Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 20% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
