Hiram College invites applications for the position of Women’s Basketball Graduate Assistant. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the recruitment, retention, and day-to-day operations of the Hiram College’s Women’s Basketball program. Hiram College is a member of the Presidents Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III.
The graduate assistant women’s basketball coach will work directly with the women’s basketball program and assist the head coach with all facets of the day-to-day operations of the program in compliance with Hiram College, PAC, and NCAA policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities and Duties
Assist head coach in practice and competition planning and implementation
Assist in all facets of recruiting and retention of student-athletes to the women’s basketball program
Assist with strength and conditioning program for women’s basketball
Assist with all funding raising initiatives for the Hiram College women’s basketball program
Do athletic laundry in sport season
Participate in Annual Day with Hiram Golf Outing
Other duties as assigned, to possibly include, but not be limited to other sport event management during the off-season
Skills & Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of women’s basketball
Ability to teach skills and strategy of women’s basketball
Working knowledge of strength and conditioning relative to women’s basketball
Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented office environment and interact in a positive manner with students, faculty, staff, visitors, and the public.

Experience recruiting college athletes preferred
Education
Bachelor’s Degree required
Acceptance into the Hiram College MAIS Graduate Program or Sports Management Graduate program required for consideration
